Micah Johnson

Micah is Entertech's Design Leader. He is a theatre design engineer and project manager with fifteen years’ experience designing and implementing systems across the construction and performing arts industries. With a foundation in stage lighting, Micah’s experience also covers stage automation, networking and control systems, technical operations and project management in a performing arts context.

Micah began work as a lighting designer and technician in 2004 and in the following decade worked as a tour and production manager, stage automation engineer, and technical manager across Australia at venues from the Annandale Hotel to the Sydney Opera House.  Leading to his attainment in 2014 of a Master of Project Management from Sydney University, Micah spent several years running building and façade automation projects to optimise the efficiency and comfort of commercial buildings, data centres and University facilities.
